So, as many people know, I dislike the USA. I think that we're very selfish and corrupt, and generaly nasty. I don't think that we have a culture, or any real effect on the world. I mean, in general, I don't have national pride. So in response, as some of you know, I turned to other nations, and particularly the home of my ancestors which is Russia and France. But, really, even other nations, like Canada, and Japan, and even Germany, the countries that I see as looking out for their people, I deffinetly, uh, deffinetly feel a connection there. But you know, I've been thinking, and I mean, I guess the US isn't so bad. We've done some pretty good things, and we've got some pretty nice people. The way I'd describe the USA, and the people who live their, the uh, "Americans" as being sort of the boys of the world. You know, we're kind of basics, full of life, everyone knows 'em, boys. We're the boys of the block, that gang of guys who really don't do any good and get into alot of trouble, but everyone knows that they're, they're, well they're like everyone's kids. Now, lots of you are probably thinking, how can the US be a basics nation, we have next to everything, but I mean, look at sort of our makeup. We were the colonists, grapling with the wilderness, then with the civil war, and the wild west, and both world wars, and cold war, and civil rights, nam, korea, iraq, global warming, we've kind of been there. Sure, we've been the problem most of the time, but we're almost like the pioneers, always, well, always exploring new ground. We've lead most of the revolutions in though and sience, and many other catagories. Not that others didn't follow, not that others didn't do it better, but we started it. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that that's an outlook I can live with. Right so, here's an old civil war song, um, I'm not sure how much you in other nations have learned about the civil war, but I mean, it pretty much is a timeless thing, the struggle of good and evil, and brothers against brothers. Any way, here it is.

P.S. It did have the last line on each verse read, "and we'll all feel gay when Johnny comes marching home" but I didn't feel good about posting that. Not because I have anything against the word gay, just that this is the way I was taught the song, and I prefer the ring my version has. So, if you google the lyrics, you won't find this version, but other than that it is unchanged.
